NFCA Project Planning Form

A project planning form to describe and transpose project-level actions identified during workshop brainstorming sessions. This form will feed a project planning spreadsheet that will facilitate sorting, prioritization, and further discussions of projects.

  • Considering project description, provide a concise name
  • Brief description of project (e.g. "Conduct an inventory and characterization of low-head dams").
  • Which broad NFCA river basin does this project consider.
  • Approximate length of project.
  • Just a broad approximation to serve as a starting point reference.
  • Choose the one or two that fit best
  • Describe the location. This can be a stretch of river or a specific locality. Use the marker icon on the map to drop a pin on the approximate location. If it's relevant for a large river segment, anywhere on the river or in the basin will do.

  • Organizations and Institutions that could be involved
  • Management or Research personnel who could be involved directly or who could suggest others.
  • Describe potential or actual funding sources for this project. The more detail the better.
