Riparian and Instream Invasive Removal Native Vegetation Restoration

Project Description

Vegetation restoration and bank stabilization in the San Marcos River system in the lowest downstream reach of the EAHCP focus area (I-35 to TPWD Staples fish hatchery and City of San Marcos waste water treatment plant). Removing invasive species from the riparian corridor and instream submerged aquatic vegetation. Planting native riparian and instream vegetation, specific focus of planting Texas Wild-rice.
