Save Honey Creek

Project Description

Continue to monitor water quality in Honey Creek to build a robust database to defend Honey Creek before high-density subdivisions are build in the drainage. Continue to monitor water quality during and after to construction to detect any changers and brings these to the regulars attention.

Protect Honey Creek, a pristine spring-feed tributary to the Guadalupe River. Preserve the wonder that is the Honey Creek State Natural Area a gem in the state of Texas.

I believe the Meadows Center is already monitoring water quality in Honey Creek.

There is no funding in place for this project at this time. However, there are several groups and many individuals that are passionate about protecting Honey Creek. I believe it would be possible to organize volunteers and donors to support this projects.

Project Location

Honey Creek is a short spring-feed tributary to the Guadalupe River in western Comal County. It is in the Honey Creek State Natural Area.
